Tracy Centanni, PhD
Dr. Centanni is the lab director and is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at TCU. She completed her PhD at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2013, followed by postdoctoral work at MGH Institute of Health Professions and MIT. Her research focuses on auditory and visual perception of language, reading acquisition, genetics of communication disorders, and plasticity.
Current graduate students
Abby Mason was born and raised in the tiny town of Sweetwater, TN. After high school, she attended Tennessee Technological University and graduated, Magna Cum Laude, a year early with her BS in psychology. She has many research interests, including studying the brain to better understand neurological and neurodegenerative disorders. Her hobbies include painting, reading, and hanging out with friends. She ultimately hopes to have a successful career in research, and to one day host a Ted Talk.
Abby joined the lab in 2018.
